About the Founder
Yusr Educational Solutions was founded by Dr. Dawud Klayton, an experienced K-12 leader with over a decade of experience in English learner programming, building compliant systems, curriculum design, instructional coaching, and professional development across urban public schools. His research has explored equitable use of funding for school leaders in building compliant systems. Dr. Klayton, whose own children attend Islamic schools, is deeply committed to uplifting Islamic schools with clear processes, high-quality instruction, and a service-driven approach grounded in real experience.
Who we are
Yusr Educational Solutions is dedicated to strengthening the academic development of students across K-12 Islamic schools. We recognize that faith-based learning environments have unique strengths as well as distinct operational challenges, particularly when it comes to supporting diverse learners and building sustainable systems for teaching and learning. Yusr exists to make those challenges easier—so school leaders and educators can focus on nurturing student growth, well-being, and connection to their learning.
Our work is shaped by more than a decade of experience in urban public education, English learner program leadership, curriculum design, and educator development. We believe in relationships first, systems that make educators’ lives easier, and improvement that is realistic—not overwhelming.
